Your Support Needed!
It is that time again – the London Marathon Looms on April 23rd – just a few weeks to go. This year, although I am not running myself (sadly – ho ho) we have two runners supporting the MRN corporate charities chosen for this year. MRN chose this years charities based on personal connections – friends and family affected by disease or supporting charities in their spare time. We have been raising money for them all year, but this run is the main fundraising event.
MONEY RAISED WILL BE MATCHED BY MRN UP TO AN ANNUAL CAP OF £10,000.
Elaine is running for Home Start Bedford. This is a local organisation to our UK HQ that provides day to day support for struggling families for all sorts of reasons, helping them organise, take control their lives and learn how to live in modern society where they find that a challenge. A very practical form of support aimed at solving problems for families and preventing them being marginalised.
To support Elaine please DONATE!
Elaine is also writing a training blog in the run up to the marathon, so please take a look at that too.
Charlotte is running for Ataxia UK. This is a charity focused on helping patients with Ataxia, a group of diseases causing severe muscle wasting and major disability. One of our staff at MRN suffers from Ataxia, which is also a rare disease affecting children – two of our major areas of expertise in clinical research - giving us many reasons to support their excellent work.
YOUR SUPPORT IS ALL WE CAN OFFER TO THESE CHARITIES – PLEASE DONATE NOW.
